Privacy policy
This page explains what Roadhouse Simulator Guide collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be scrolled past.
Effective date: September 21, 2026
The short version
- No accounts, no logins, no comment system.
- We use aggregate analytics (Google Analytics 4) to see which pages are read and how people arrive.
- Advertisements are served by a third-party network, which may use cookies to select and measure ads.
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not build profiles of individual readers.
What is collected automatically
Like nearly every website, our host (Cloudflare) and our analytics record technical information when you load a page: your IP address, approximate region, browser and operating system, the referring page, and the pages you visit here. Cloudflare processes this to keep the site fast and to block abuse; the analytics service summarises it into aggregate reports that show us things like "this guide was read 400 times this week from search".
We do not use this data to attempt to identify you, and we do not combine it with any other source.
Cookies
- Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to distinguish one visitor session from another so the aggregate numbers are not double-counted.
- Advertising cookies — our ad network may set cookies or use similar identifiers to limit how often the same ad appears and to measure performance.
- No site cookies of your own — we do not log you in and we do not store preferences server-side.
You can block or clear all of them in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not change what you can read here.
Third parties
| Provider | Purpose | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting, delivery, security | cloudflare.com/privacypolicy |
| Google Analytics | Aggregate readership statistics | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Display advertising network | Serving and measuring advertisements | the network's own privacy page, linked from its ad units |
Some advertising networks offer an opt-out for personalised advertising, and you can also disable personalised ads at the browser or device level. We do not control what a third-party network does with data it collects independently.
Children
This site covers a video game rated for adults in most stores and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
- Opt out of analytics: use a browser-level tracking blocker or an ad blocker; the content is unaffected.
- Opt out of personalised advertising: use the opt-out controls offered by the advertising network, or disable personalised ads in your browser or operating system settings.
- Ask a question: email [email protected].
We do not currently honour "Do Not Sell" requests as a separate mechanism because we do not sell personal data at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example, if a new analytics or advertising provider is added — the effective date at the top of the page changes with it, and material changes will be described rather than quietly swapped in.
